Georgios C. Georgiou is managing director at AllianzGI where he has been head of fixed income specialists as well as portfolio manager and head of investment structuring across equity and debt. Previously, he was head of investment risk at Invesco, overseeing cross-asset strategies, including derivatives, private equity and real estate. In prior roles, Georgios worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and UBS, in global markets sales and trading, corporate and investment banking, and wealth management. Earlier in his career, he was a regulator at the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and an economist at the European Central Bank.
