Dimitris Skalkos graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Studies of Panteion University in Athens and holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent. He has authored four books on political theory, political economy and reforms. Mr Skalkos has served as General Secretary for Public Investments and Partnership Agreement at the Ministry of Development and Investments (2019-2024), a member of the Greek National Resilience and Recovery Plan Steering Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Development Bank. He is currently serving as the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as the Chairman of Enterprise Greece SA.
