Antonella Cavallari has been Ambassador of Italy to Cyprus since 2026. She joined the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987 and has held diplomatic assignments in Egypt, Japan and Paraguay, as well as senior positions at the Ministry in the fields of economic affairs, migration, global affairs and Latin America. From 2020 until her appointment to Cyprus, she served as Secretary General of the Italo-Latin American Institute. She holds the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary and is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
