Dr Giuseppe Spatafora is a Research Analyst at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), where he leads the portfolio on transatlantic and EU-NATO relations. In this capacity, he provides policy advice to EU institutions and Member States. He produces public analysis and commentaries on transatlantic issues, European security and NATO. Before joining the EUISS, Giuseppe worked at NATO’s Policy Planning Unit, in the Office of the Secretary General. Dr Spatafora obtained his PhD (DPhil) at the University of Oxford with a dissertation on external support and foreign intervention.
